Why Our Work Matters?

One of the most pressing issues facing the AAPI community is the lack of representation in government.

Despite being the fastest-growing demographic in America, AAPIs are among the least represented in elected offices. This underrepresentation contributes to a feeling of disconnection from the U.S. political system.

Additionally, of concern, groups with limited representation in government often face challenges in having their voices heard and their concerns addressed. To address this, the AAPI Advocacy Alliance aims to boost the presence of AAPI individuals in government by empowering the next generation of leaders and providing them with the tools and resources needed for success in their future endeavors.
